CSP1 is a wonderful educational and practical experience to give the student safe tools to approach pediatrics and overcome any anxiety about working with children. The students come away with good concepts as children in process of development - not just little persons.

Also, the class is designed for participants to work in pairs with children. The infants and children are provided solely by you and your classmates and often receive immeasurable benefits from attending. We have received many letters from the parents of the children who were involved in the workshops commenting on the impact this brief opportunity has had on their families. Unfortunately, if participants are unable to provide a sufficient number of children, the educational quality of the seminar will be impacted. We send infant dolls to practice with in the event there are not enough children for the appointment times. Do not assume others are able to bring a child – please complete and return the Demonstration Application form, available for download at:

Also available is the Frequently Asked Questions about what is expected of the children/demonstrations available for download at:

Supplies:
Treatment tables are provided at this location.
Attire:
Wear loose, comfortable clothing (preferably no jeans.) A light jacket is recommended because the temperature can be difficult to control. Due to the potential chemical sensitivities of your classmates, please refrain from wearing perfumes or oils to class.
Course Schedule:
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. on the first day of class. A continental breakfast will be served until 9:00 a.m., at which time the workshop will begin. Subsequent class hours are 9:00 a.m. to approximately 6:00 p.m. each day. Class ending times are approximate, and may run late based on class participation – lab sessions have run as late as 7:00 p.m. at previous classes.
Other:
Many students visiting from out of town are interested in having a therapy session at The Upledger Institute Greece while they are in town for the class. Since the clinic hours mostly overlap with the class hours, you may want to arrive a day early or stay an extra day in order to have a session. We recommend that you call as soon as possible, as appointments are often booked several weeks in advance.
The clinic is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and can be reached for more information and scheduling at 215.535.6688
