SER 1

SomatoEmotional Release SER® is a therapeutic process that uses and expands on the principles of CranioSacral Therapy to help rid the mind and body of the residual effects of trauma. SER1 offers applications designed to enhance results using CST and other complementary therapies. You will learn about the physiological mechanism of disease and will participate in hands-on training to facilitate the SomatoEmotional Release process. By the end of the course, you should be able to dissipate residual effects of past trauma and negative emotional experiences from the body and mind of your patients/clients.

In this course will learn more techniques to release the tissues of the mouth and throat where emotional issues usually stuck. You will find out more about working with Energy Cysts and you will focus on monitoring the craniosacral rhythm when you work with Energy Cysts..

Another key part of the SER process is techniques that we call imagery and dialogue. Your ability of listening and comprehension verbal and non-verbal signals from the client will increase. This will help to encourage your clients to work cooperatively with you in this process. During this course you will be a part in a lot of hands-on experiences facilating the process of SomatoEmotional Release®.

The Highlights of the Course 

Assess and mobilize the Avenue of Expression working through more than 10 different body components, including the thoracic inlet, hard palate and hyoglossal tissues.
Locate and release Energy Cysts.
Integration of imagery and dialogue techniques in the process of SomatoEmotional Release®
Introduction to the idea and use of therapeutic imagery and the principles of therapeutic dialogue
Release suppressed emotions that may be inhibiting complete structural releases.
Refine listening and comprehension skills.
Improve palpation and whole-body evaluation skills.

Prerequisite: CST2 and at least 25 experiences of practicing all of the techniques taught there.
